TO Superpose TO Control

When it was very hot in Cartagena, Colombia, I will buy an ice cone as a child, and I will eat it lying down on the beautifully decorated and cold tile floor in my house. This video is a product of a private performance in the backyard of my home in Toronto, dealing with childhood memories. I paint on the snow using fuchsia syrup (reminiscences of Ice Cone or “Raspaos”) tiles with arabesques as on the floor in my house in Cartagena. In the end, I laid down naked in the snow, trying to recuperate these impossible memories. Hot – Cold, Fuchsia – Childhood – Moments. This video is the beginning of my multimedia installation work and IceCone car entitled Raspao. Toronto, 2008
